Röviden: Annyira aranyos volt! Elbűvölő. Minden, amire szükségem volt.

De, most egy kicsit részletesebben is bemutatom nektek ezt a nagyszerű könyvet, és azt is elárulom, hogy miért is volt annyira jó:

Főshőnőnk, Tori (Victoria) Duran, aki jelenleg nincs a legjobb anyagi helyzetben. Austinban él, jelenleg egyetemen tanul, és egy nála valamivel idősebb barátja (Jamie) van, akivel a kapcsolata nem lesz olyan hosszú életű. Furcsán viselkedett, amikor egy nap Tori elment hozzá, és nem is sokkal később fény derül a titkára. Ha lenne olyan díj, hogy „A világ legrosszabb barátja”, biztosan ennek a karakternek adnám.

One night is all it takes for everything to go wrong.

Ezután a történet egy évvel később folytatódik. Tori, hogy közelebb legyen a testvéréhez, Kat-hez, beköltözik Ethan Carter házába, és ő fog vigyázni a férfi gyermekeire. Ethan jelenleg egy egyedülálló kétgyerekes apuka, aki egy válás kellős közepén áll. Ethan szinte mindig nagyon elfoglalt, nyáron is rengeteget kell dolgoznia, és pontosan emiatt szüksége van valakire, aki a gyerekek gondját viseli. Ez a valaki pedig Tori lesz, de ezt még egyikük sem tudja. Ethan nagyon gyanakvó, Tori pedig nem bízik a férfiakban, de végül meg tudnak egyezni. A későbbiekben ez pedig egy kicsit több is lesz, mint munka, elkezdenek vonzódni egymáshoz.

Tori az egyik legjobb női karakter, akiről az elmúlt néhány hónapban olvastam. Gondoskodó, szereti a gyerekeket, ők pedig ezt viszonozzák is, ragaszkodnak hozzá. Kattel egy igazán különleges testvéri kapcsolata van, szerintem igazán jó testvérek. Megkedveltem őket, jelenleg ők a kedvenc könyves testvérpárom.

Ethan nagyon szorgalmas, szerető, hűséges, és lényegében minden. Már a kezdetektől fogva nagyon kedveltem. Sokszor sajnáltam is, hiszen annyi mindennel kellett megbirkóznia, és ezek a dolgok általában nem éppen voltak egyszerűek. Nagyszerű édesapa, látszott rajta, hogy imádja a gyermekeit, mindent meg szeretne adni nekik, azt akarja, hogy mindig boldogok legyenek. Tori és Ethan kapcsolata gyönyörű volt. Külön-külön is nagyszerű karakterek, de együtt még varázslatosabbak.

Mila és Cody Ethan gyerekei. Mila egy igazi kis hercegnő, egy csajos kislány, Cody pedig annyira aranyos volt. Nagyon imádnivalók voltak, mindig mosolyt csaltak az arcomra, de néha voltak kivételek. Amikor valami rossz történt, akkor megszakadt értük a szívem.

És akkor még nem is említettem valakit, aki hatalmas kedvencem lett. Ő pedig nem más, mint Logan, Ethan testvére. EGYSZERŰEN IMÁDTAM! Remélem, hogy hamarosan ő is megkapja a saját könyvét. Biztos vagyok benne, hogy nagyon-nagyon-nagyon szeretném. ♥ Kíváncsi vagyok, hogyan folytatódik az ő története.

Végül, de nem utolsó sorban Kat-ről és Brady-ről szeretnék néhány szót szólni: annyira tökéletesek és aranyosak voltak együtt. Ők a Shameless főszereplői; még nem olvastam, de ezután már nagyon felkeltette az érdeklődésem az ő történetük is.

Mindent figyelembe véve, számomra 2018 egyik hatalmas kedvence lett a Reckless. Csodálatos, humoros és érzelmes volt. Azoknak, akik most ismerkednek az angol nyelven való olvasással és szeretik a romantikus könyveket, nagyon tudom ajánlani. Szuper élményben lesz részetek.

Értékelés: Nem is kérdés, hogy 5 csillagot adok neki! Sőt, még egyszer öt csillagot. Szóval, igen, ha tehetném 10 csillagot is adnék rá. Tökéletes volt. Fantasztikus. Csodálatos. ♥♥♥♥♥ Az értékelő skálán a kis könyvet egyértelműen az „Imádtam”-hoz rakom. Tényleg imádtam.

There are a lot of shoulds in this world.

But what if this guy’s kids hat eme? Or what if they’re brats? What if they like to eat their boogers? You know I can’t handle creepy booger-eaters.

If I fire his sister-in-law, he’ll be pissed, and then who will we get to fill his spot on poker night?

When you watch your dreams for your family go up in flames, it kills something inside you can’t get back.

Shortly: It was super sweet. Captivating. It was everything what I needed.

But let me introduce you this wonderful story in more details in a spoiler-free way:

The female main character is Tori (Victoria) Duran, who is not in a good financial position. She is a university student, lives in Austin, and has a boyfriend (Jamie), who is much older than she, but their relationship ends soon. He acted weird when Tori showed up, and few minutes later Jamie couldn’t hide his secret any more. If there was a „The world’s worst boyfriend” award, Iwould definitely give it to Jamie.

One night is all it takes for everything to go wrong.

After that the story continues one year later. Tori, to be near her sister, Kat, moves into Ethan Carter’s house, because she will look after his children. Ethan is a single-dad, has two children, and is in the middle of a divorce. Ethan is usually very occupied, has to work a lot during the summer too, and because of that he needs a nanny, who takes care of his kids. That person will be Tori, but neither of them know that. Ethan is suspicious and Tori does not really trust in men, but they come to an agreement. Later, this will be so much more, they are getting attracted to each other.

Tori is one of the best characters I have ever read. She is very caring, loves children and the kids really love her too. Also, she has a very special relationship with Kat, I really do think that they are good sisters. I really liked them, now they’re my favourite bookish sisters.

Ethan is soo hard working, loving, loyal, and he is everything. I liked him since the very beginning. Sometimes I felt sorry for him, because he had to deal with so much stuff, and these thing usually were not easy. He is a really good father, his children is everything to him, amd he wants to give everything he can to them. The relationship between Tori and Ethan is wonderful. They are both amazing characters, but together they’re magical.

Mila and Cody are Ethan’s childrens. Mila is a little princess, a girly girl and Cody is so cute. They are adorable, I loved them, they always put a smile on my face. Well, expect when something bad happend, then my heart broke for them.

And then, there is Logan, Ethan’s brother. OMG, I LOVED HIM! I hope soon we can read about him. I would really-really-really love it. ♥ I’m curious about how his life will continue.

I would like to quote a sentence from a book:

It’s crystal clear that Carter brothers are totally lady-killers.

I totally agree with this.

Last, but not least let me talk about Kat and Brady: they are a perfect couple and so sweet together. They are the main characers of Shameless, I haven’t read it, but now I really want to!

Taking everything into account, Reckless by Lex Martin became my top favourite of 2018. It was wonderful, funny, emotional. Romance readers: prepare to get reckless! Purchase it! Jump into it. And have a beautiful time with it. ♥

Recommend it? Readers, who like romantic novels will love it, I absolutely recommend Reckless to them. Also, you have to be 18 years old or more, because it includes mature content.

Rating: It is not a question, I give it 5 stars! And another 5 stars. So, yes, I would definitely give it 10 stars. It was perfect. Awesome. Wonderful. ♥♥♥♥♥ In the scale I put the little book to „I adored it”. I really did.
